Bridal Fashion Week is a time for designers to showcase new bridal styles and silhouettes, but for Temperley Bridal it’s all about maintaining its timeless, everlasting aesthetic. Its spring/summer 2015 “Iris” collection is the proof in the pudding. In an intimate presentation held in New York City, a series of classic Temperley bridal pieces (including a design that Alice Temperley, herself, chose to get married in 12 years ago) were featured. Not that it was all old hat. The collection was punctuated with fresh styles, all embodying the designer’s trademark beadwork and intricate embroidery.

“The use of French lace, double satin and fine crystal applique inspired the romance of this collection, a feeling of British charm that plays out within the delicate touches and special details of each dress,” Temperley, MBE, said in a statement.

Lazy Sunday facial

Sunday is the only day of the week I can relax. I work Monday till Friday and in my spare time and on Saturday I help my mum. Ever since my dad passed away it’s become some sort of a ritual, helping mum with things she finds hard or simply has no clue about. We drink tea, talk about our days and meanwhile I check her administration. I don’t mind, I love her to pieces so it comes naturally. But Sunday? That’s my day! Most of them I spend lazy in bed, watching hart of Dixie (so obsessed with that show it’s ridiculous). Today however it won’t be like that. It’s nice and sunny and ever since my bra-shopping-debacle yesterday I’m slightly down. I really don’t know what their problem was but every single store attendant was horribly rude! Now you know my little self esteem problem, so imagine what…

10 Celeb Mom-to-Be Looks We’re Loving Right Now

It’s hard enough getting dressed up when you’re not pregnant, so we commend anyone who can pull together a polished ensemble while expecting a baby.

Forget about navigating the latest trends. Just searching for styles that complement your growing curves can be exhausting. The key is to find flattering pieces that make you feel great.

Drew Barrymore, who is expecting her second girl, really said it best. “It’s about feeling good in clothes and knowing you can get dressed up in the evening … but there’s just no such thing as perfection. So if you’re trying to get there, you’re just torturing yourself.”

There are plenty of star moms who get it right. And we’d like to give them kudos. Below are our fave maternity looks for every occasion.

Peaches Geldof dies aged 25

TV presenter Peaches Geldof, second daughter of musician Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, has died aged 25, leaving a husband and two sons.

“We are beyond pain,” said her father, confirming her death. “She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.”

“What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?”

Police say the death is currently being treated as “unexplained and sudden”.

Born in 1989, Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof embarked on a media career at the age of 15, when she began writing a column for Elle magazine.

She left home at 16 and went on to contribute to the Telegraph and the Guardian, as well as TV shows including ITV2′s OMG! with Peaches Geldof.

She also worked as a model and, just last week, attended a launch for Tesco’s F&F clothing range in London.

The writer and presenter was married to musician Thomas Cohen, with whom she had two sons, Astala, one, and Phaedra, who will turn one on 24 April.

“My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons,” said Cohen in a statement.

“I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever.”

Geldof lost her own mother when she was just 11 years old – TV presenter Paula Yates died of a drug overdose in September 2000.

Speaking to Elle Magazine in 2012, Peaches said she had not come to terms with Yates’s death for several years.

“I remember the day my mother died, and it’s still hard to talk about it. I just blocked it out. I went to school the next day because my father’s mentality was ‘keep calm and carry on’,” she said.

“So we all went to school and tried to act as if nothing had happened. But it had happened. I didn’t grieve. I didn’t cry at her funeral. I couldn’t express anything because I was just numb to it all. I didn’t start grieving for my mother properly until I was maybe 16.”

Geldof said she had experimented with drugs as a teenager, but was “never that wild”.

She was previously married to rock musician Max Drummey but the pair separated in 2009 after a six-month marriage.

In a statement, police said they were called to an address near Wrotham, Kent on Monday afternoon following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman.

The woman, aged 25, was later pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service.

She leaves her husband and sons; father Bob Geldof; sisters Fifi Trixibelle and Pixie; and younger half-sister, Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof.
